Annie Lee is a transformational program and operations leader with more than 15 years of experience advancing youth empowerment, women’s leadership, and culturally grounded community development across the United States and Southeast Asia. Her career centers on designing trauma-informed programs, strengthening organizational infrastructure, and leadership curriculum that expand opportunity for women and girls.
Annie currently serves as the Executive Director of Seeds4Hope, a nonprofit that supports young women in Laos and Vietnam through a comprehensive three-year leadership empowerment model. Under her leadership, Seeds4Hope transitioned from a small volunteer initiative into a multi-country organization with structured programming, safeguarding policies, cross-functional operations, and a multi-tiered mentorship ecosystem. Annie built the organization’s full operational and programmatic foundation including SOPs, onboarding systems, documentation workflows, safeguarding protocols, curriculum tracks, and leadership milestones; creating a sustainable, scalable model rooted in trauma-informed and culturally responsive practice.
In addition to her nonprofit leadership, Annie is the Founder and CEO of Hmong Women Today LLC, where she facilitates healing-centered women’s leadership circles, retreats, and trainings. Her work is grounded in storytelling, community care, and culturally informed healing practices that empower women to reclaim their voice, identity, and belonging. She also provides consulting in organizational development, systems design, and program architecture for women-led and community-centered organizations.
Annie’s leadership is shaped by deep experience working with first-generation youth, trauma-affected communities, and multi-country teams. Prior to launching Seeds4Hope, she provided crisis intervention, safety planning, and trauma-informed youth support as a children counselor.
Across all her roles, Annie is recognized for her ability to build programs from the ground up, lead collaborative teams with vision and compassion, and translate complex community needs into practical, sustainable systems. Her strengths include nonprofit leadership development, organizational operations, strategic planning, cross-cultural partnership building, curriculum design, and remote team leadership. She is a sought-after facilitator for women’s empowerment, sisterhood healing, and leadership development.
Annie holds a Bachelor’s degree from CSU Stanislaus and professional training in trauma-informed care, safeguarding, research ethics (CITI), and leadership facilitation. She is deeply committed to advancing gender equity, uplifting marginalized youth, and creating community-rooted pathways that allow young women to discover their voice, build confidence, and rise into their leadership.
